MSc Robotics and Computation (Artificial Intelligence) at University College London
I am a recent MSc graduate in Robotics and Computation (Artificial Intelligence) with Distinction from University College London (UCL) with a passion for 3D Computer Vision and Geometry. My research interests lie at the intersection of Machine Learning and Computer Vision, particularly in 3D Mapping and Reconstruction, Visual Localisation, and Novel View Synthesis. Prior to my postgraduate studies, I completed my BEng in Mechanical Engineering with First-Class Honours from the University of Glasgow.
I recently started an internship as a Computer Vision Researcher at Spatial Intelligence. Moreover, following my MSc graduation, I worked as an independent researcher in collaboration with my MSc supervisor, Dr. Francisco Vasconcelos, further expanding upon my thesis work, leading to "NeRF-Supervised Feature Point Detection and Description", a research paper accepted at ECCV 2024: Map-free Visual Relocalization Workshop.
Outside of research, I recently developed a deep interest in computational efficiency and low-level programming. This curiosity led me to explore writing Triton kernels, initially as a learning exercise, but it has grown into a genuine hobby, which led to the TritonTorch Library. I generally enjoy coding and deconstructing the latest research to explore how new techniques might be adapted across different domains, especially in computer vision.
I am actively seeking research-based opportunities. Please feel free to reach out to me via email or connect with me on LinkedIn.
